Riyadh, 25 Dec. 2024: Red Sea Global, the developer behind the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism projects, celebrated the first anniversary of the “Jewar” App. Designed specifically to enhance local community participation in destination development, serving as a vital link between RSG and residents whilst fostering sustainable opportunities and engagement which has helped in hiring hundreds of locals.
Jewar app allows users to access real-time information on job opportunities, educational programs, cultural events, and project updates. By fostering ongoing interactions and encouraging constructive feedback, the app ensures that the perspectives of residents are integral to shaping the future of the region.

The platform has also created a network for small business owners, connecting them with opportunities and resources to thrive within the growing tourism sector. Also, Through Jewar's "Montej" initiative, app has uplifted more than 145 businesswomen across Umluj, Al Wajh, Al Ayi, and Duba, showcasing inspiring success stories that highlight their entrepreneurial spirit. The initiative aimed to develop the work of productive families in the field of food and beverages and contribute to raising their awareness, which helps in the development and sustainability of their projects.
Jewar also played a pivotal role in organizing the "Red Sea Sailboat Race," a significant initiative to celebrate and preserve Saudi Arabia's maritime heritage, honoring a cherished cultural legacy. Red Sea Global has revived 13 traditional sailing boats in collaboration with local communities in earlier this year with the race held in October at The Red Sea coast.
