Red Sea Scholarship
Overview
In partnership with the University of Prince Mugrin (UPM) and the EHL Business School, Red Sea Global (RSG) offers scholarships for high school graduates to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management.
Throughout the program’s two successful iterations, 150 beneficiaries enrolled in the program. Graduates will be directly employed, contributing to RSG and its partners operational needs. The program aims to prepare leaders and specialists in International Hospitality Management by providing a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences based on Swiss and international hospitality standards.

Empowering Saudi youth to pursue careers across diverse tourism and hospitality fields, strengthening national talent and capabilities in support of the Human Capability Development Program and Saudi Vision 2030.

Create opportunities for young Saudis to participate in the development of a world-class tourism destination

Equip young Saudis with the required skills and knowledge that match the requirements of the jobs in the Red Sea Global’s destinations
Capacity-building
Encourage young Saudis to specialize in different branches of tourism and hospitality, promoting national capacity-building in line with the Human Capital Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
Program Tracks
Over two semesters, the program prepares students for the job market through intensive training and practical experiences. At the end of their studies, they will receive a certificate from UPM accredited by EHL demonstrating their successful completion of the program requirements.
Fast Track
A 4-year-program in which students will directly start the major, excluding the preparatory year
Full Track
A 5-year program in which students also take a preparatory year that then qualifies them to start the major
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Admission Criteria for Applicants

Nationality
Be a Saudi national and possess a valid national identity.

Age Limit
Must be younger than 23 years old.
3
Academic Qualification
Must have a high school degree from Saudi Arabia (full‑time) or an equivalent degree from abroad, and the graduation date must not exceed five years.

Program Eligibility
Must not have previously benefited from RSG educational programs.

Minimum GPA
Must be a high school graduate as a minimum, achieving a minimum GPA of 60% across all cognitive ability tests.

Enrollment Status
Must not be an enrolled full-time student at any university.

Medical Clearance
After initial acceptance, submit a medical certificate confirming physical and psychological fitness.
Must complete psychometric assessment if required.

Document Submission
Submit all required documents during the registration stage.
Must ensure all information provided is correct and complete.

Interview Invitation
Applicants who meet all the above requirements may be invited for interview.

Application Tracking
Is responsible for tracking their application through UPM’s portal and official platforms.

Service Commitment
Sign a commitment letter to work in any of the Red Sea Global destinations with any of its partners for a minimum of 3 years upon graduation.

Fast Track
Admission Criteria for the Program’s Fast Track
Must have 6 or above score in IELTS or any equivalent standardized tests
Must write from 120 to 250 words Statement of Purpose in English, expressing why you want to join the program.

Your role will be identified based on the operator you work with after graduation. However, all graduates will have entry-level jobs in the hospitality and tourism fields upon graduation.
This program is designed for high school graduates. However, qualified applicants who have higher degrees and wish to join the program are welcome to apply.
