Turtle Bay Village

Overview

Delivering and operating a destination as ambitious as The Red Sea requires a happy, healthy, and fulfilled community of people enjoying a high standard of living and modern lifestyle. That is why Turtle Bay Village was developed as a state-of-the-art residential and commercial area that now houses 6,000 of an eventual 14,000 workers, staff, and management at The Red Sea.

Turtle Bay includes a 144-room hotel for staff and contractors, a 500-person corporate office, housing, restaurants, clinic, and a wide range of leisure and recreational facilities. The villas and townhouses have achieved Platinum LEED certification, while Turtle Bay Hotel has become the first Saudi hospitality entity to achieve the prestigious Green Key certification and Mostadam Diamond Certification.

Turtle Bay Village Design

To meet our ambitious benchmarks for better development, we avoided the construction of temporary assets during the development of Turtle Bay Village. Instead, permanent assets were built and repurposed, helping preserve the area’s natural ecosystems.

The offices, residential apartments, and hotel were built using off-site fabrication and modular construction techniques. This approach enhances quality and safety, reduces the number of construction workers on site, and minimizes environmental impact during fabrication and installation.

The buildings have been designed to provide natural defenses from erosion, while new habitats have been created through landscaping that enhances the island’s natural state.

The villas and townhouses have achieved Platinum LEED certification, while Turtle Bay Hotel has become the first Saudi hospitality entity to achieve the prestigious Green Key certification and Mostadam Diamond Certification.
