Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind two of the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and AMAALA, announced on Thursday, 22 June 2023, the signing of a sponsorship deal with Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club (Al-Ahli FC).
This agreement is an intentional move toward putting the club’s strategic investments into action and bringing significant advantages to the Saudi sports sector.
This is in addition to other commercial and marketing advantages and privileges that will be enjoyed by Al-Ahli FC.
The initiative is also aligned with the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, launched by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Sponsoring Al-Ahli Saudi FC, one of the poles of Saudi sports, is a new commitment that we make to ourselves to be an active partner that contributes to shaping the present and future of Saudi Arabia by enhancing the sustainability of the sports sector, as Al-Ahli FC represents a rooted history in Saudi sports and has a great fan base extending beyond the Kingdom's borders. Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club is one of the biggest and most respected names in Saudi sports. Sponsoring the club underlines our commitment to the future of Saudi Arabia as we seek to enhance sustainable sports across the Kingdom and beyond.
RSG becomes the Platinum Sponsor of the club’s first team.
The agreement extends for three years.
RSG’s logo will be displayed on Al-Ahli Saudi FC players’ jerseys during all local and international competitions.
RSG and Al-Ahli Saudi FC will work together to achieve sustainability in the Saudi sports sector.
Our Story with Sports
RSG has a clear appetite for the adoption of sports and physical activity, and it has launched three subsidiaries dedicated to providing a wide range of sports programs and events to visitors and guests at our destinations.
Akun is responsible for offering and operating adventure sports experiences for visitors to RSG’s luxury destinations, including gravel, mountain, fat-tire and electric biking, as well as running and hiking along diverse natural trails. Guests can choose from climbing, scrambling, and a wide selection of other thrilling action sports for both beginners and athletes.
Our WAMA brand focuses on water sports. It will operate a sailing club in cooperation with RS Sailing, an international leader in designing and building world-class sailboats and specialist equipment. WAMA will also be responsible for offering invigorating water sports adventures, from stand-up paddleboarding through the destination’s stunning mangrove forests to sailing the Red Sea’s soft swells.
The third company Galaxea will provide unique underwater tourism experiences for visitors to our luxury destinations. It will offer opportunities for scuba-diving and snorkeling so that guests can enjoy the incredibly diverse undersea marine life and explore the astonishing and vibrant coral reefs of the Red Sea.
