- MoU aims to provide hands-on training programs and promising career opportunities for students majoring in tourism and hospitality
Riyadh, 08 October 2025: Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jazan University to equip qualified local talent to lead the future of Saudi Arabia’s tourism and hospitality sector, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
The MoU was signed at RSG’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of officials from both parties.
Under the MOU, the two parties will work together to develop diverse career pathways for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. The collaboration will include specialized workshops led by experts from Red Sea Global. Moreover, the partnership aims to align academic outcomes with the actual needs of the luxury hospitality sector across Red Sea Global’s destinations, ensuring the graduation of national talents equipped with competitiveness and innovation.
Dr. Naif Mathkur, Dean of the College of Business at Jazan University, said: “This MoU represents a strategic step for Jazan University, opening promising opportunities for our students to integrate academic knowledge with practical experience at some of the most prestigious tourism destinations. We aspire to equip our graduates with competitive skills that will enable them to seamlessly enter the job market and contribute to realizing the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for the tourism sector.”
